Further Information: Reaches up to 11mm in size. It has a deep umbilicus. The characteristic sculpture of 3-4 unequal chords showing more than the rest identifies this species. A similar species is the much rarer Gibbula leucophaea which has numerous thin cords (7-9) and has a flat base. |
